A showcase for exceptional models
The organiser has announced (Un)limited, a 700-square-metre showcase in Hall 7.1 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Dedicated to exceptional vehicles and rare models, it brings automotive design, technology and craftsmanship into focus.
Ahead of the show, the selection is an invitation to enjoy seeing cars at their actual scale. Photographs introduce a silhouette; standing beside a vehicle offers a different appreciation of its proportions and details.
What the design tells us
For an enthusiast, a visit can begin with personal taste. A taut silhouette or something more understated? A dramatic cabin or a restrained interior? Those preferences give direction to the experience and bring more to a conversation than specifications alone.
We also look for a sense of coherence: how the bodywork, materials and driving position seem to belong to the same idea. It is often through those relationships that a car begins to express its character.
From observation to experience
The announcement dated 30 September outlines nearly 90 models from 20 brands at the test-drive centre, with more than 5,000 slots planned. Alfa Romeo, DS and Lucid are among the brands named. Available by reservation, the programme offers a chance to follow a first encounter with a driving experience. Elsewhere, La Fabrique de l’Innovation highlights the French automotive industry.
The (Un)limited display and the test-drive centre have separate programmes. A car admired on a stand is not necessarily available to drive.
A meeting point for different passions
The show brings together several reasons to love cars: their history, their shape, their purpose or the sensations they promise. Choosing a few discoveries and allowing time for them can make the experience more rewarding. Sometimes the detail that stays with us is one we never noticed in a photograph.
