Four days to consider life at sea
Monaco Yacht Show takes place at Port Hercule from 23 to 26 September 2026. For anyone considering a yacht charter, it offers a practical starting point: an opportunity to move beyond the image of a cruise and think about how it would feel.
A yacht’s profile may draw you in, but the more revealing questions follow. Where would you have breakfast? Would children have space of their own? Could you entertain friends while preserving somewhere quiet to retreat? Thinking about these everyday moments gives a charter plan its shape.
At the show
ANGELIQUE, life in the open air
The 87.7-metre ANGELIQUE is among the yachts announced by Monaco Yacht Show for this edition. Built by Turquoise Yachts, she draws the eye with layered decks and lines that extend the living spaces towards the sea.
The view from the stern offers a closer sense of life on board: a pool, outdoor lounges and dining spaces arranged across several levels. It is easy to picture a day moving between a swim, lunch in the shade and conversation overlooking the water.
Another perspective on cruising
SILVER FOX, open to the sea
Also announced in the official 2026 selection, SILVER FOX is a Sanlorenzo yacht. Her horizontal lines, terraces and generous aft deck suggest a different way to spend time at sea, with spaces connected across several levels.
The sunset photographs reveal her profile, while the aerial view gives a clearer sense of the deck layout. Together, they invite a closer look at both the yacht’s architecture and the room it offers for life on board.
Look beyond the dimensions
Length and cabin count tell only part of the story. The flow between spaces, shaded areas, dining arrangements and access to the water deserve just as much attention. Two yachts of similar size can lend themselves to very different holidays.
A family hoping to alternate swims with slow mornings on board may want something quite different from friends keen to explore a new anchorage each day. Deciding on that rhythm before comparing yachts makes the selection more meaningful.
From a visit to a charter
Finding a yacht you like at the show does not establish its availability for your preferred dates. Viewing, receiving a charter proposal and confirming a booking are separate stages. Your destination, travel dates, party size and wishes then shape the next conversation.
This is where dining, activities, transfers and individual preferences come into focus. Much of the pleasure of a cruise depends on that quiet preparation, which leaves more room for unhurried days once the journey begins.
Give Monaco room in your plans
A small number of considered visits, with time for conversation, can be more valuable than rushing through a long list of yachts. A leisurely lunch or a walk offers the chance to reflect on what you have seen.
Wednesday 23 September is invitation-only; general admission begins on Thursday 24. Yacht visits require appointments and remain at each exhibitor’s discretion. A ticket to the show does not guarantee permission to board a yacht.
