Three approaches to a destination
The Japan itinerary connects Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka over nine days. Thailand combines Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui across eleven days. In Hawaii, the seven-day journey stays on Lanai, taking in two properties with different approaches to the island. These are the routes and durations set out in the Four Seasons announcement.

What happens between the stays
The useful starting point is pace. Someone drawn to cities and food will want a different journey from a family hoping to spend longer by the sea. Adding another hotel only makes sense when it adds something to the trip.
Our reading of these itineraries is about continuity: considering transfers, free time and experiences together. A beautiful room is one part of a stay. It does not, on its own, explain how the next day will feel.

Inspiration with room for personal choices
These programmes provide a starting point for comparing different ways to travel. Before choosing one, travellers still need to establish suitable dates, what is included and the applicable terms. The name of an experience cannot replace a clear understanding of its arrangements.
